At Cell Signaling Technology, we take a rigorous and comprehensive proteomics approach to understand cancer biology.
Our scientists are interested in identifying disease drivers and aberrantly active pathways in cancer using patented PTMScan® technology. Dr. Gu's research efforts include unraveling complex signaling pathways, identifying novel activated cell surface molecules, and characterizing tumor antigens that may be useful in fighting various types of cancer. Using proprietary XMT® and NG-XMT™ technology, monoclonal antibodies are produced that will selectively target the desired cancer to direct, or immune-mediated tumor cell killing. In addition, precise delivery of a cytotoxic agent to the tumor by antibody chaperone may significantly enhance both antibody and drug activities.
