HTScan® Kinase Assays
Kinase assay utilizing a DELFIA® readout with an unlabeled primary and a lanthanide-labeled secondary antibody (indirect detection).
Five hundred and eighteen kinases have been identified in the human genome and many of these are dysregulated in their activity and expression in human disease. As a result, kinases have become important targets for drug discovery and therapeutic intervention. High throughput screening programs have yielded many small molecule kinase inhibitors and a major objective of lead optimization has been to maximize inhibitor selectivity for the intended target over off-target, structural related kinases.
Cell Signaling Techology's HTScan Kinase Assays are designed to perform dose-response studies and IC50 determinations of novel inhibitors on purified active kinases. Such inhibitor dose-response could be performed in-house and cost-effectively with off-the-shelf, validated kinase assays. HTScan Kinase Assay Kits contain validated active kinase, optimized peptide substrate and detection antibody.
