Phospho-Caspase-9 (Ser196) Biotinylated Peptide #1091
Cell Signaling Technology offers a full line of protein kinases, substrates, antibody detection reagents and HTScan® kits. Browse our "Reagents for High-Throughput Screening" product listing or contact us at drugdiscovery@cellsignal.com.
Description
This biotinylated peptide contains the residues surrounding Ser196 of Caspase-9. The serine residue in the peptide corresponding to Ser196 has been chemically phosphorylated in the course of peptide synthesis. This phosphopeptide was generated for use as a positive control in a kinase assay (B-Raf Kinase #7351), but it may also serve as a positive control in other heterogeneous or homogeneous kinase assays.
Quality Control
The quality of the biotinylated peptide was evaluated by reverse-phase HPLC and by mass spectrometry.
Peptide Core Sequence
RFSS*LHF
Molecular Weight

Directions for Use
This phosphorylated peptide can be detected with the Phospho-Akt Substrate (RXRXXS/T) (110B7) Rabbit mAb #9614. A sample kinase assay protocol is attached.
