Description
This biotinylated peptide contains the residues surrounding Tyr891 of IRS1. The tyrosine residue in the peptide corresponding to Tyr891 has been chemically phosphorylated in the course of peptide synthesis. This phosphopeptide was generated for use as a positive control in CST's HTScan® IGF-1R Kinase Assay Kit #7746 and HTScan® INSR Kinase Assay Kit #7430, but it may also serve as a positive control in other heterogeneous or homogeneous kinase assays.
Quality Control
The quality of the biotinylated peptide was evaluated by reverse-phase HPLC and by mass spectrometry.
