Description
This biotinylated peptide contains the residues surrounding Tyr160 of Signal Transduction Protein. The tyrosine residue in the peptide corresponding to Tyr160 has been chemically phosphorylated in the course of peptide synthesis. This phosphopeptide was generated for use as a positive control in CST's HTScan® kinase assay kits (HTScan® Src Kinase Assay Kit #7776 and HTScan® Abl1 Kinase Assay Kit #7905). It may also serve as a positive control in other heterogeneous or homogeneous kinase assays.
Quality Control
The quality of the biotinylated peptide was evaluated by reverse-phase HPLC and by mass spectrometry.
