    Product Information

    Product Description

This biotinylated peptide contains the residues surrounding Tyr445 of BCAP. The Tyr445 nomenclature is based upon the mouse sequence. The tyrosine residue in the peptide has been chemically phosphorylated in the course of peptide synthesis. This phosphopeptide was generated for use as a positive control in kinase assays (Etk/BMX kinase #7446 and Hck kinase #7448), but it may also serve as a positive control in other heterogeneous or homogeneous kinase assays.
    MW (kDa) 2167
    Molecular Formula 2167 daltons

    Product Usage Information

This phosphorylated peptide can be detected with the Phospho-Tyrosine Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (P-Tyr-100) #9411. A sample kinase assay protocol is attached.

    Quality Control

The quality of the biotinylated peptide was evaluated by reverse-phase HPLC and by mass spectrometry.
