We are seeking a talented, highly motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join the Immunohistochemistry Group with job title to be commensurate with experience. The candidate will contribute to the validation and support of antibodies for use in IHC assays, with a focus on the development and optimization of automated staining protocols.

  • Independently develop and optimize automated IHC staining protocols.
  • Identify, analyze and troubleshoot technical issues related to assay development and performance in support of internal and external customers.
  • Complete scientific tasks on aggressive timelines, adapt readily to changing priorities and manage a fast-paced and varied pipeline.
  • Stay current on staining technology and trends in the field.
  • BA/BS, or MS degree in a biological science
  • 2+ years experience in a laboratory environment
  • Experience with immunohistochemistry and tissue sectioning
  • Experience with automated staining platforms is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a collaborative mindset
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • High level of dependability, initiative, and motivation
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of immuno-oncology is beneficial
