Cell Signaling Technology, Inc. is seeking a Paralegal to join our fast-paced legal team. The primary focus of this position is to serve as point-of-contact for client work requests, provide exceptional administrative support to the department, and assist with a wide range of document preparation and correspondence. The successful applicant must be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and client needs in a fast paced environment, possess a strong attention to detail and excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the intake, attorney assignment, and workflow of all legal matters
  • Update and maintain the legal matters docket and prepare regular status reports
  • Preparing and send correspondence to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain legal department electronic files and archives
  • Assist with legal projects, including gathering and organizing materials
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between internal stakeholders and the General Counsel

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate with a minimum of three (3) years of paralegal experience in a corporation or law firm; law degree helpful but not required
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn and use new software and database applications
  • Self-starter, ready and willing to propose and implement improvements to existing processes
  • Project and process management skills
  • Discretion, sound judgment, tact and diplomacy in all communications
  • Confidence to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality
  • Ability to comfortably and effectively communicate with Senior Management
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and carefully carry out instructions
  • Desire to work and collaborate in a team environment
