In 2006, CST renovated the former Kings Grant Hotel located in Danvers, MA, U.S. and transformed it into a state of the art production laboratory and business headquarters for Cell Signaling Technology. CST was awarded a LEED certification from the US Green Building Council (USGBC). CST was one of only a handful of laboratories in United States that achieved LEED certification at the time. In 2012, our production facility in Beverly was remodeled based on LEED criteria, however we did not pursue formal certification. In 2018, we will be opening a newly renovated office in Shanghai China, which will include increased measures for energy efficiency, sustainability, security, and improved air quality monitoring. While we are not actively pursuing LEED certification for our China facility, efforts have been made to consult LEED standards in our design and planning.
