Cell Signaling Technology Announces New Corporate Partners

Partnerships with eight non-profit organizations to strengthen CST’s relationship with local community

DANVERS, MA – April 17, 2019 - Cell Signaling Technology (CST), a leading provider of antibodies, kits, and services, today announced that they have formalized partnerships with eight local non-profit organizations. These partnerships will strengthen CST’s alignment with organizations that encourage science and environmental education, arts, and support for the underprivileged throughout Massachusetts’ North Shore.

CST believes that business must be more responsible, working in partnership with local communities and seeking to minimize its environmental impact. Change is Simple, Seeding Labs, Greenbelt, Ipswich River Watershed Association, Raw Art Works, Montserrat College of Art, Beverly Bootstraps, and LEAP for Education will all receive support from CST in the form of finances, volunteer work, event support, fundraising, and community outreach.

“Each of these organizations focus on causes that align nicely with our culture and core values which emphasize high-quality science, employee engagement and social responsibility,” said John Letcher, Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources. “These partnerships will also provide fantastic opportunities for our employees to engage in volunteerism and community outreach.”

"Thanks to Cell Signaling Technology's support of Seeding Labs, thousands of talented scientists worldwide are developing solutions to emerging needs in health, agriculture, and the environment. They're able to train students for STEM careers and drive economic development in their communities and beyond," says Melissa P. Wu, PhD, CEO of Seeding Labs. "We are excited to take the next step in our partnership with CST and expand our relationship with its Corporate Social Responsibility team."

On October 1st, CST will celebrate 20 years of actively engaging in the development of new technologies for signaling analysis as well as mechanic cell biology research. In addition to its Corporate Partners program CST supports the community through many other philanthropic initiatives including its project grant program for 3 key areas, Education in Science, Environmental and Community Grants. The deadline to apply for these grants is May 1, 2019.
