DHFR Antibodies

You can find the right DHFR antibody for your scientific research with our 2 antibodies developed in Rabbit. These antibodies are validated for detecting DHFR in Human, Monkey, Mouse and Rat samples using techniques like Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) and Immunoprecipitation. Our DHFR antibodies have been cited in 8 publications and have 15 product images.

Target Information

Key enzyme in folate metabolism. Contributes to the de novo mitochondrial thymidylate biosynthesis pathway. Catalyzes an essential reaction for de novo glycine and purine synthesis, and for DNA precursor synthesis. Binds its own mRNA and that of DHFR2. Belongs to the dihydrofolate reductase family. Widely expressed in fetal and adult tissues, including throughout the fetal and adult brains and whole blood. Expression is higher in the adult brain than in the fetal brain. 2 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.

Alternate Names

DHFR; DHFRP1; Dihydrofolate reductase; DYR
