Rhodopsin Antibodies

You can find the right Rhodopsin antibody for your scientific research with our 3 antibodies developed in Rabbit. These antibodies are validated for detecting Rhodopsin in Human, Mouse and Rat samples using techniques like Immunofluorescence (Frozen), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin), Immunoprecipitation and Western Blotting. Our Rhodopsin antibodies have been cited in 10 publications and have 8 product images.

Target Information

Photoreceptor required for image-forming vision at low light intensity. Required for photoreceptor cell viability after birth. Light-induced isomerization of the chromophore 11-cis-retinal to all-trans-retinal triggers a conformational change that activates signaling via G-proteins. Subsequent receptor phosphorylation mediates displacement of the bound G-protein alpha subunit by the arrestin SAG and terminates signaling. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Opsin subfamily. Rod shaped photoreceptor cells which mediate vision in dim light. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
