HMMR Antibodies

You can find the right HMMR antibody for your scientific research with our 3 antibodies developed in Rabbit. These antibodies are validated for detecting HMMR in Human, Monkey, Mouse and Rat samples using techniques like Western Blotting, Flow Cytometry (Fixed/Permeabilized), IHC Leica Bond, Immunofluorescence (Immunocytochemistry), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) and Immunoprecipitation. Our HMMR antibodies have been cited in 6 publications and have 22 product images.

Target Information

Receptor for hyaluronic acid (HA). Involved in cell motility. When hyaluronan binds to HMMR, the phosphorylation of a number of proteins, including PTK2/FAK1 occurs. May also be involved in cellular transformation and metastasis formation, and in regulating extracellular-regulated kinase (ERK) activity. May act as a regulator of adipogenisis. Expressed in breast cancer cell lines and in normal breast tissue. 4 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.

Alternate Names

CD168; HMMR; Hyaluronan mediated motility receptor; hyaluronan-mediated motility receptor (RHAMM); IHABP; intracellular hyaluronic acid binding protein; Intracellular hyaluronic acid-binding protein; MGC119494; MGC119495; Receptor for hyaluronan-mediated motility; RHAMM
