    Human, Mouse, Rat

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Leu346 of human RILP protein.

    Background

Rab-interacting lysosomal protein (RILP) is an interacting effector of small GTPases in the Rab family, including Rab7 and Rab34, inducing the recruitment of dynein-dynactin motor complexes and regulating late endocytic/lysosomal trafficking (1,2). RILP has also been linked to autophagosome biogenesis and transport (3). Dysregulation of RILP and the Rab complexes have been implicated in neurodegeneration, cancer, and infection (4). RILP can inhibit cell proliferation and invasion and has been reported to function as a tumor suppressor (5,6).
