Western blot analysis of HeLa cells using Akt (pan) (40D4) Mouse mAb #2920, with #14709 as the secondary antibody. Gels were probed with Streptavidin-HRP #3999 for one hour after secondary incubation in order to detect biotinylated proteins.
Affinity purified goat anti-mouse IgG (H+L) antibody is conjugated to biotin. This product has been optimized for use as a secondary antibody in western blotting applications.
Recommended Antibody Dilutions:
Supplied in 10 mM sodium HEPES (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 100 µg/ml BSA, 50% glycerol and less than 0.02% sodium azide. Store at –20°C. Do not aliquot the antibody.
Anti-mouse IgG (H+L), (Biotinylated) reacts with the heavy and light chains of most mouse immunoglobulins. No cross-reactivity to other serum proteins has been detected. Less than 1% cross-reactivity is observed with immunoglobulins from other species.
Biotinylated anti-species IgG conjugated antibodies enable signal amplification and are ideal for detecting lower expressing proteins.
