However, it may also be used to assess the blocking activity of non-human antibodies and small molecules. For example, we have had customers successfully use this kit in rat samples. You will likely need to optimize the sample dilution and antibody spike-in concentrations, and we recommend running appropriate controls for each assay (for example, rat sera that should not block activity or concentration-matched, non-relevant antibodies that are spiked in).
