Why do I see a doublet band when probing with Rpb1 NTD (D8L4Y) Rabbit mAb #14958 for Western blot?

The two bands detected by our Rpb1 NTD (D8L4Y) Rabbit mAb (#14958) represent hyperphosphorylated (upper) and non-phosphorylated/hypophosphorylated (lower) Rpb1 (see PMID: 18588899; https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18588899). This is a total Rbp1 antibody, so it will detect all post-translational modifications and unmodified versions of Rbp1 at the amino-terminal domain (NTD).
