Why does the band size change with tunicamycin treatment when using your ATF-6 (D4Z8V) Rabbit mAb #65880 for western blot?

The product webpage for our ATF-6 (D4Z8V) Rabbit mAb #65880 shows a molecular weight shift from 100 kDa to 90 kDa following treatment with tunicamycin, an agent which induces ER stress. The short, 1 hour tunicamycin treatment shown on the webpage is sufficient to inhibit glycosylation without inducing ER-stress. Therefore, the observed molecular weight shift is due to deglycosylation of ATF-6.
