Why might I be getting high control and high blank OD readings with the SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein Serological IgG ELISA Kit #20154?

In order to address your high OD readings please start with the troubleshooting steps below: 
1) Run samples and controls in duplicate, if possible.
2) Be sure to change pipette tips between samples to avoid cross-contamination.
3) Ensure adequate washing as indicated in the protocol: Wash 4 times with 1X ELISA Wash Buffer, 200 μL each time for every well. After each wash, aspirate or decant from wells. Invert the plate and blot it against clean paper towels to remove the residual solution in each well, but do not allow wells to completely dry at any time.
4) Make sure the TMB solution was not cross-contaminated with any HRP reagent.
