DANVERS, MA, USA - June 5, 2023
Cell Signaling Technology (CST), a life science discovery technology company and leading provider of antibodies, kits, and services, today announced a Platinum Level Sponsorship of the North Shore Technology Council (NSTC). The partnership will support the council's efforts to provide quality programming and networking opportunities to those who work or live north of Boston, MA, USA.
NSTC is a regional association of technology business leaders, entrepreneurs, support services providers, educators, and community leaders whose members provide innovation, ideas, technical diversity, and creativity to businesses within Massachusetts' Essex and Middlesex counties. NSTC has a strong history of providing programming, networking opportunities, events, and financial support focused on three areas: biosciences, sustainability, and technology. Through this collaboration, CST and NSTC will work together to design programming for the BioSciences and Sustainability Forums, including emphasizing the overlap between life sciences and sustainability, an area of growing interest.
“Leading by example and sharing best practices for sustainability are key to inspiring change in any industry,” said Anthony Michetti, Director of Sustainability at CST. “We look forward to working with NSTC to bring sustainable, action-based solutions to the North Shore and support engagement and initiatives for a healthy planet.”
“Cell Signaling Technology has been an important member of the North Shore business community and NSTC for many years," said Tracy Curley, President of NSTC. “This partnership will build upon both organizations' strengths to bring enhanced programming to the region."
In 2022, CST was the first life science company to join 1% for the Planet, a global organization where member businesses donate at least 1% of their total annual revenue to support a network of nonprofits tackling our planet's most pressing environmental issues. NSTC was nominated by CST to join 1% for the Planet as a nonprofit partner organization and was accepted in November 2022.
NSTC is committed to building knowledge and connections in the areas of technology, biosciences and sustainability for people who work and/or live north of Boston, with a focus on the North Shore subregion. We accomplish this through programs and events that emphasize learning and networking for innovators, entrepreneurs, service providers, career-seekers, government officials, students, and industry leaders. We inspire and foster collaboration that drives personal and business growth within the community.
Cell Signaling Technology (CST) is a different kind of life science company—one founded, owned, and run by active research scientists, with the highest standards of product and service quality, technological innovation, and scientific rigor. We consistently provide fellow scientists around the globe with best-in-class products and services to fuel their quests for discovery.
