    Species Reactivity:

    Human, Mouse, Rat, Monkey

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Gly117 of human RPL10 protein.

    Background

Ribosomal protein L10 (RPL10), also known as QM, is an essential 60S ribosomal subunit protein that facilitates joining of the 40S and 60S subunits (1-3). During ribosome assembly, RPL10 is one of the last proteins to be added that make up the peptide transferase center, and is responsible for releasing nuclear export factor NMD3 (4,5). An R98S mutation in RPL10 has been shown in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and additional mutations have been found in autism spectrum disorders (6-8).
