    Protocol

    Specificity / Sensitivity

TGOLN2/TGN38 (E7W1N) Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody recognizes endogenous levels of total TGOLN2/TGN38 protein.

    Species Reactivity:

    Human

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding His43 of human TGOLN2/TGN38 protein.

    Background

TGN38 is a type I integral membrane protein, and it was the first endogenous marker identified for the trans-Golgi network (TGN). Individual TGN38 molecules circulate rapidly between the Golgi and the cell surface through endosomes by retrograde traffic (1).
