CTPS Antibodies

You can find the right CTPS antibody for your scientific research with our 2 antibodies developed in Rabbit. These antibodies are validated for detecting CTPS in Human samples using techniques like Western Blotting and Immunoprecipitation. Our CTPS antibodies have been cited in 3 publications and have 4 product images.

Target Information

This enzyme is involved in the de novo synthesis of CTP, a precursor of DNA, RNA and phospholipids. Catalyzes the ATP-dependent amination of UTP to CTP with either L-glutamine or ammonia as a source of nitrogen. This enzyme and its product, CTP, play a crucial role in the proliferation of activated lymphocytes and therefore in immunity. Belongs to the CTP synthase family. Widely expressed. 2 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.

Alternate Names

CTP synthase; CTP synthase 1; CTP synthetase 1; CTPS; CTPS1; cytidine 5-prime triphosphate synthetase; cytidine 5'-triphosphate synthetase; GATD5; IMD24; PYRG1; UTP--ammonia ligase 1
