Product Description

This biotinylated peptide contains the residues surrounding Ser62 of Myc. The serine residue in the peptide has been chemically phosphorylated in the course of peptide synthesis. This phosphopeptide was generated for use as a positive control in a kinase assay (CDK2/CycA2 kinase #7544), but it may also serve as a positive control in other heterogeneous or homogeneous kinase assays.

Molecular Formula:

2426 daltons

Peptide Core Sequence:

PPLS*PSR

Product Usage Information

This phosphorylated peptide can be detected with the Phospho-MAPK/CDK Substrates (PXSP or SPXR/K) (34B2) Rabbit mAb #2325. A sample kinase assay protocol is attached.

Quality Control

The quality of the biotinylated peptide was evaluated by reverse-phase HPLC and by mass spectrometry.
