    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Asp50 of human CXCL14 protein.

    Background

C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 14 (CXCL14) is a chemokine that acts as an attractant for a variety of immune cells, including neutrophils, dendritic cells, NK cells, and monocytes (1-4). Its receptor is unknown, though the mast cell receptor MRGPRX2 has been implicated as a candidate in a G protein-coupled receptor screen (5). CXCL14 is broadly expressed in normal tissues but is downregulated in various cancer types (6). Conversely, CXCL14 expression can be upregulated in lung cancer as well as other conditions, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and diabetes (5,7-11).
