    Product Information

    Product Description

B cells become activated when the B cell Receptor (BCR) interacts with its cognate antigen, resulting in activation of signal transduction cascades that promote proliferation, survival, and differentiation into antibody secreting plasma cells. BCR signaling can be interrogated experimentally through the use of antibodies that crosslink the BCR, which induces phosphorylation of numerous intracellular signaling molecules. These molecular events can be quantified at the single-cell level using applications such as flow cytometry and western blotting (1-3).
Endotoxin Less than or equal to 0.05 EU/μg, as determined by the LaL assay.

    Product Usage Information

Working concentrations and length of treatment can vary depending on the desired effect.

    Formulation

Supplied in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH7.4, Low Endotoxin, Azide-free.

    Storage

Store at –20°C. Aliquot to avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

    Specificity / Sensitivity

Goat Anti-Human IgM, F(ab')2 Antibody (Low Endotoxin, Azide-free) detects the heavy chain of human IgM and has been cross-adsorbed against human IgG and IgA. This antibody may cross-react with IgM from other species.

    Species Reactivity:

    Human

    Source / Purification

Goat Anti-Human IgM, F(ab')2 Antibody (Low Endotoxin, Azide-free) is produced by immunizing goats with human IgM, purified by affinity chromatography on human IgM covalently linked to agarose, and pepsin digested.
