Can we use your ELISA Kit with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples?

Although we have not tested every ELISA target with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), we have tested several of our β-amyloid and tau targets with both normal and Alzheimer's disease (AD) human CSF samples.

The kits tested include:

• PathScan^® RP β-Amyloid (1-42) Sandwich ELISA Kit #27029
• FastScan^™ Phospho-Tau (Thr181) ELISA Kit #58537
• PathScan^® RP Phospho-Tau (Thr217) Sandwich ELISA Kit #59672

The kits may require additional optimization with starting dilutions. We recommend running a titration curve starting with neat samples to determine the optimal loading concentration.
