Is my Senescence β-Galactosidase Staining Kit #9860 still functional after being stored at 4°C?

Based on in-house stability data, the #9860 Senescence β-Galactosidase Staining Kit has been shown to remain functional after being stored at 4°C for up to 3 days. However, the kit is sensitive to multiple freeze/thaw cycles, and prolonged storage at 4°C is not recommended. If the kit has been stored at 4°C for longer than 3 days, it is advisable to test the kit with controls to ensure functionality. 

Additionally, if the X-Gal Solution component was dissolved prior to storage, it must be kept at -20°C after dissolution. For best results, the kit should be stored at -20°C until it is ready to be used.
