Which MitoTracker® reagents are well-retained after fixation and which are only useful for live cell imaging?

We offer 3 MitoTracker® products, MitoTracker® Green FM #9074, MitoTracker® Deep Red FM #8778 and MitoTracker® Red CMXRos #9082.   MitoTracker® Deep Red FM #8778 and MitoTracker® Red CMXRos #9082 are well retained after methanol fixation as outlined in our Product Usage Information.  MitoTracker® Green FM #9074, on the other hand, is only useful for live cell imaging as the dye is not well retained after fixation with aldehydes or alcohols.
